Quintas Capital invests €2.27 million into Cork City’s first dedicated indoor padel hub, The Hive

Quintas Capital today announced a €2.27 million investment into The Hive - a new indoor sports and wellness facility due to open this week at Monahan Road, Cork. The investment marks the final deployment from the 2024 EIIS Fund and represents a strategic commitment to Cork City's first fully indoor padel centre.

About The Hive

The Hive project will transform a 19,000 square foot warehouse into a state-of-the-art five-court indoor padel club, featuring premium amenities including wellness spaces, recovery rooms, social areas, a café and retail space. More than a sports venue, The Hive is designed as a community hub for Cork residents.

Padel is one of the fastest-growing sports across Europe, with rising demand across Ireland. The Hive is positioned to meet this appetite locally, offering players of all levels a high-quality, purpose-built indoor facility - the first of its kind in Cork City.

Context: The 2024 EIIS Fund

This investment formally closed in September and represents the final deployment from the Quintas Capital 2024 EIIS Fund, in which the firm invested just under €8 million across a portfolio of qualifying Irish businesses.

2025 Fund Update

Quintas Capital has confirmed that its 2025 EIIS Fund is on track to surpass €12 million, underlining the firm's continued commitment to sustainable, high-potential projects across Ireland.
