Brian Devine

Brian is an Investment Director at Quintas Capital, bringing over 15 years of experience in capital markets and a proven track record of managing both institutional deals and investments into SMEs. His extensive expertise spans M&A, financings, and early-stage business investments. Brian began his career in the M&A division of the Irish Competition Authority before moving on to NCB Stockbrokers, where he served in multiple roles, including Chief Economist, Bank Debt Analyst, and Airlines Equity Analyst.

During his seven years at Digicel, Brian was involved in over $6 billion in debt and bank financings, as well as IPO and M&A transactions, before becoming CFO of their CPL subsidiary. As a co-founder of various ventures that raised over €10 million, Brian gained invaluable operational and commercial experience within SMEs. As the Investment Director of The EIIS Innovation Fund, managed by Quintas Capital, Brian has led investments in companies such as The CX Academy and Feenix Group.

With a strong background in capital markets and a hands-on approach to SME investments, Brian possesses a deep understanding of the key levers in driving investment returns. His experience as a co-founder and advisor to early-stage businesses, combined with leading investments in innovative companies, enables Brian to provide valuable insights and strategic guidance to both companies and private market investors.

Brian holds a BA in Economics from Trinity College Dublin, an MPhil in Economics from the University of Cambridge, and is a CFA Charterholder.
