Kevin Canning

Kevin Canning is CEO and Head of EIIS of Quintas Capital, where he leads the firm's investment strategy with a long-term, value-driven approach across private markets.

Kevin holds an honours degree in Finance from University College Cork and a Master of Accounting from University College Dublin. A Chartered Accountant (ACA) and Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA), he is a member of the Irish Tax Institute. Having spent almost a decade advising family offices on complex tax structuring — including family succession planning and company sales — Kevin brings a distinctive edge to structuring investments across tax-efficient vehicles and private capital.

As Head of EIIS at the Quintas EIIS Fund, Kevin has built a strong track record of identifying and backing high-growth Irish businesses. His recent deals include investments into Zenith Childcare, The Hive, and a number of social infrastructure projects — reflecting his conviction in businesses that deliver both financial returns and meaningful community impact.

Kevin also brings significant expertise in real estate, advising private clients and institutions across both equity and credit strategies. His experience spans direct investment, deal structuring, and capital deployment, with a particular focus on delivering strong risk-adjusted returns in the Irish market.
